So, according to WRAL-TV this evening, our state government (North Carolina) apparently demanded this history of purchases from Amazon.com for all NC residents..., for the past 7 years! Finally did my taxes last night and was disappointed. I owed the feds and got some back from the state. Add in the fees to use TurboTax on the web it came out to a net loss of $250--boo. The good thing is that I post dated the payment until 15 April. I should have the refund in a few days. I already got the email that my electronic filing was ( Read more... )

Lots of little things over the past few days:

Friday we found out we're moving into the new ITS Manning building on the 15th (of THIS month). Data center still plagued with cooling issues. But I will be out of cube city and have an office once again--bonus. Had dinner with D at Brier Creek.
