A day of calm after the snowstorm
I made it into work this morning with no problems as 90% of the roads were dry. There was hardly any traffic on the roads too, so yesterday's snow fiasco likely scared the idiots to stay home--yay for me. My neighbor who braved the conditions yesterday said there were accidents all over the place. It was mostly cars wedged in ditches and some went into the swamp along Hwy 54.
Damn, it was cold though. Had a low of 12.7°F--that was not expected. I'm sure the 4" of snow allowed the temperatures to cool that much more. I won't know how much precip we actually got until the snow in my rain gauge melts though. I think we'll get above freezing today. 50's tomorrow.
