PicKnit
I've sent off for a PicKnit kit.
I also emailed the Queen Royal Parks to ask whether we'd need a permit to do fundraising activities in St James Park and sadly they have forbidden us from PicKnitting in any of the Royal Parks. To be fair, they don't allow any soliciting of donations and that's probably no bad thing when you're trying to sit under a tree and read. We could still have a knitting picnic and make things for the big woolly picnic scene, but I think it would be good if we could raise funds too.
So - any favourite parks? And would an evening or weekend be better? We could set a tentative date in August and check weather forecasts nearer the time. Any ideas for raising funds?
Non-knitters and other-crafters would be very welcome too!
