At some point, I'd like to make a new layout for EB too.
On Mondays, I get up and rake the yard. This morning I had to wait for the trash collectors to come. Once they did it started to thunder. I decided to wait for the thunder to stop before going out to rake. The thunder stopped and I decided to go out, it started pouring. Maybe I’m not supposed to rake today. I’ll take care of it tomorrow or Thursday, most likely Thursday unless it’s stopped raining and thundering this evening. In which case, I’ll do it this evening.
Just looked up some of my course work! WOW. Pretty much two projects a week, I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised! I’m definitely going to need manage my time really well. It looks like it’ll be interesting at least. I’m really interested in the one weekly project as it’s listed as “weekly journal”. That should be a lot of fun! It also looks like several of the things they want me to do for projects I’m fairly well acquainted with. So that should be much easier than I think it is (at least right now). If I need help, I also have two mentors that I know will be more than happy to answer all my silly questions. Need to text a classmate and see if she’ll be there since I didn’t see her on the roster though. I’m also going to see if I can meet with the principal on Wednesday and try and get something worked out for hours, it’ll be a pain to do though as I won’t know how many hours I need for class until Thursday (at the soonest). So hopefully, she will be willing to meet with me several times. The sooner I start the process the better!
Over all, feeling relaxed. Enjoying the last days of vacation. I’m looking forward to being back in classes so that I can finally finish my degree! I’ll finish my classes this school year and do my student teaching next year. I’ll have two breaks for sure but I’m not sure how I feel about them. I also need to schedule certification exams again. I passed one of the ones I needed; however, I missed the cut off date for Spring student teaching (because of not being able to do practicum). This means that the test I passed I don’t need for my program, I need a different one instead. So, I’ll try to schedule them for next summer, depending on how my schedule looks in the upcoming year. I think the more time I spend in a classroom before taking it, the better.
I feel calm despite the workload that’s coming. I’m taking it as a good sign. At the very least, I’m going to do my best to conquer what I can.
