Vincent is struggling along today. That worries me a little bit! He best I can do for him is to back everything up, so I’ll do that as soon as I can. He seems to be behaving now, though, so I’m feeling more confident about his performance in general. That is, I’m not concerned he’s just going to keel over.
I just have to write up a lesson plan and its rationale for my benchmark this week. I’m almost done with the big portfolio project! Whoo. Discussions are completed, so that just leaves the reading. Which I feel is tedious right now because I have about eighty other chores that need done.
Copper is 15 today! It’s still pretty spry even though he doesn’t see as well as he used too.

Ah, lesson plans. WHY?! I’ve decided to write a math lesson plan. The most dominating reason is that I dislike math, so I want to try and find ways to make it fun. In doing so, I think I will be able to overcome some of my math-hate. Another reason is that because I love English, I love every aspect of it even the parts that the majority of people find dull and boring. I don’t feel I could make a lesson plan as effective!
It’s better to have too much information versus not enough. But I don’t know what’s too much and what isn’t! HAH. Still, the lesson on fractions is going fairly well. At the very least, I can use things like pizza and baking as examples! Hmmm, too easily influenced by food.
On the plus side, I did get a lot more done than I thought I would on it. I feel more confident about writing them, so perhaps it won’t be so bad. I can do this; I just need to keep working through it! I’d probably feel even better if I could sit down and talk to a math teacher about it, but I’m going to have to make do without for now. I’ll get it eventually, I think!
Really, I’d just like to hunt dragons with Linca and Juris.
Cherri expanded her About me section at Piratesboard. I want to do that at Nonsensical Madness too. Actually, there’s a lot I want to redo at Nonsensical Madness. I did update my projects list!
