Writing Updates: The Promise - From the Ashes
So Copper broke out into really bad hives last night (we figure it was the new joint/vitamin medicine). The poor little guy could not stop itching. It was terrifying as I have never had a pet have an allergic reaction before. His skin was all pink and had huge welts and bumps all over it. I just sat up with him most of the night petting him to distract him from itching as he’d have just scratched himself raw. And I kept the water dish full and let him out when he needed. I got about 3 hours of collective sleep.
Thankfully, he is just fine now. As old and lazy as ever. And his normal shades of brown. I was so relieved when I checked him over this morning to find his nose was cold and wet and that he was nice and copper colored.
Overall he seems to be doing just fine so I’m not too worried but I was really, really, really scared about it last night.
Unfortunately I’m super tired but have to make dinner. So I’m going to do that and maybe crash.
We’ve just been watching movies today. So far Speed Racer and Dragon Tiger Gate. I honestly did not think they could make Speed racer cool, but they succeeded in my book. I don’t know if I can sit through any more movies.
