First Ever Business Trip
Just wanted to record this as being the day before I leave for my first ever business trip. I am going to a company open house in Kelowna, BC. The new company that I work for is Harlen Fairbanks, they are a supply company for fun foods and products. IE popcorn machines, cotten candy, hotdogs, nacho's and cheese, coffee, slushies, etc. The open house is a kind of customer appriciation thing that the company is doing this weekend.
So tomorrow I will take my first ever plane ride, about an hour, and land in (hopefully) sunny Kelowna. We are being put up in the luxury of the Grand Okanagan Resort. And all in all it should be a fun weekend where I will have the opportunity to learn a ton of information about the company, so that I can come back and be better able to serve the customers. I'm super excited!
Anyways, all else is great. Charlie and I are doing well. We now have a new addition to our little family, Montanna is a 1.5 year old Shi-Tzu cross Pom, cute, fluffy little white thing. Sadly we have given Willy our cat back to his rightful and very happy owner, my uncle Jamie.
We are now in the process of figuring out where we will be moving to, as the government has decided to build a massive road right through our house. Which by the way, I completely agree is needed. But now we have the interesting job of figuring out a new living situation that will hopefully benefit everyone involved.
As for the rest of my family, my mom is doing great, her and Steve - her long time boyfriend, have just purchased their first townhome together. Its a wonderful little place, perfect for what that need and then some. And they are more than happy with it.
