Happiness is only real when it is shared...
yes, at long last, I saw Into the Wild. Not as sad as everyone made it out to be. It was bittersweet to be sure, but hardly sad. I mean he died with a giant grin on his face, it was a little creapy at worst and my favorite movie since Speed Racer at best (if you know anything about me, you know that is REALLY saying something)
So, feeling thusly inspired, Katie decided decided that it was time for an adventure. Not a vacation, mind you; something much larger and all together amazing. And with Brittany taking off, her 1001 day deadline approaching and the new found freedom that comes with going to school online she realized that there was no better time. Since a Europe trip is already in the making for early the next year, she figured she'd try for something a little different and maybe hit up Canada. You know Katie loves Canada. Not wanting to loose steam on her ambition, she ordered a whale watching book (she's always wanted to see a narwhal), a good stirdy backpack, and went out and bought a mountain of cold weather clothes, which, while warm enough for the most blustery phoenix day will probably keep her just below pleasantly FREEZING in the wonderous Canadian snow. The best part is, it is SUPER Ridiculously cheep to fly to Canada =) always so frugle is our little Katie Did.
In the mean time, life is good =D We are THIS CLOSE to getting our new team member in the PlayCenter which means Sundays off and hopefully the 42 hours a week I was promised *grumble* (I swear that Katie girl can always find SOMETHING to complain about).
