I somehow got all of my homework finished on time today. Ginormous History Paper of Doom was completed (I don't even care how bad it is at this point) and turned in. In Math, I found that the math average that I had been worrying myself sick about for the past week was completely FINE and LOVELY. In Spanish, our teacher was nice and let us do nothing for the whole period. And in English, we watched a totally cheesy movie about Perseus and Medusa narrated by Michael Gambon, the new Albus Dumbledore. It probably would have been a perfectly okay movie, if it wasn't for the fact that the narrator was accompanied by a completely-fake-looking talking dog that had the corniest lines.
For example:
The Narrator talks about Danae and how Zeus came and had his way with her (using a metaphorical beam of light streaming in from the window). While we're almost dying of laughter, the puppet dog opens its mouth wide and goes, "oooohhhh, so THAT'S how it's done." Which made us die of laughter even harder. And apparently, this is supposed to be a kid's movie. HAHAHAA!! Those producers should be sued for teaching kids that Zeus is where babies come from. "Yes, Zeus comes and impregnates your mommies and that's how you all came to Earth!"
Then, I skipped Peer Tutoring and took the school bus home. Ohh, sweet freedom. :)
