Great Day!
So, since I had today off, Jason and I decided to go downtown and see what damage we could do. I got the idea from our friend Nicole that we should go to where Wicked is playing and enter the raffle to get front row seats for $25... so we did... and we got them! Yes, that's right, I saw Wicked with Ana Gasteyer playing Elpheba. It was a GREAT production!!! It's been so long since I've seen REAL theatre that wasn't Rent!! I also bought 2 new polo shirts for work from Old Navy and bought a T-shirt for $5. So, yeah, I spent a lot of money today, but it's ok because I'm making money too!! On the way home, we saw this guy Andy who we haven't seen in four years (when I had a broken neck). It was great getting to talk to him, and we got his number, so now we have somone else in the city we know!!! So, as the subject line says: it was a great day indeed. Now it's time to wind down with a drink.
