A belated "Happy 35th" to our beloved Gale Harold -- inveterate hottie, (mostly) undiscovered talent, and wildly inconsistent interviewee.
I was reminded of the date while removing my current vanity plates, which as some folks know read "GH71069", to be replaced with "Save the Bay". Believe me, I begged to have the number transferred, but the commemorative plates are numbered. Besides which, it was time. I don't know -- I've come to feel like such a teenybopper fangirl with those plates on. And trying to explain them is always a headache: "Well, see, there's this show on Showtime? 'Queer as Folk'? Well, the main guy on it is an actor named Gale Harold -- 'GH', right -- and that's his birthday. No, really. I'm 37; why?" So the plates are gone but not forgotten; Will thinks I should hang them on the wall in my room with the rest of the "QAF" shrine. I think he's right.
