Addition..
Because I forgot to mention it in all the ranting, was gonna add the story of today's extremely late break. Basically I was in at 12, so - between own guessing and what Judy was saying (from what she said, I should have had my break at some point during her lunch, or at least not long after) - I should have had a break at about 2-ish. Got to half 2 and I figured, alright, won't say anything, they'll remember eventually - even though I had a mild headache at the time, and was feeling generally rough (self inflicted, but still). So kept on working, got called by Hayle at about 4pm and she was like, "I assume you've had a break?" So I told her I hadn't, she was like, "Oh...would you like one now?"
So went over to her to see how long, and she was like - you have two quarter hours, you can either take them separate or have half an hour. And I figured, if I take the half hour, it took me to about 4.30pm and then I only had two hours after that anyway, so I may as well take the half. And so I did.
So yeah...not very interesting, but I wanted to share anyway. OH and while I'm here, I'll have the other rant. Basically this woman came in early afternoon, she'd won something on a scratchcard so got Judy (who was serving her) to get her more. So Judy got them, this kid with her - who must have only been about 5 or 6 - snatched them off her, so Judy snatched them back, because obviously with it being lottery, you can't sell to underage. Which Judy explained, how she couldn't give them to him, because he was underage and she was at risk of being fined if she did, and this woman just started mouthing off about how she'd "scared him" and, after Judy gave her the scratchcards, she gave them to the kid. So after they'd left, Judy was like, "She doesn't get served any lottery or scratchcards now, cos we know she's buying for him." She was actually hoping for the woman to win so she could call the supervisor over and stuff, refuse the prize like cos she'd bought it for the kid. But she didn't.
However, couple of hours later, Judy got called away to - I later found out - the office, because the bitch of a woman had phoned up and complained, about how she'd scared her son and stuff, and how she was "nasty". So Judy explained what had happened. I couldn't believe it, though, I mean, what an evil bitch. Some people are fucked up.
