Kamikaze Kimberly
~^*It's official. I am taking on the role of Kamikaze student next semester. Let's hear it for 21 credits! All right, so 3 are from a teaching assistantship and 3 are from choir, but that's still over 6 hours of class time a week! And really, folks, how is it that my theory class is not worth 4 credits? It was supposed to be 5 days a week, but it turns out that it's only going to be 4. Oh, joy, now I have to get up at the ass crack of dawn only 4 days a week, rather than 5. The thing that sucks is that my days all have huge chunks of undevoted class time in the middle of the days. It's all morning and evening classes. Buh! Ah well. I told Dad tonight that I'll just be maximizing my opportunities next semester. It just may be the semester where my nervous breakdown takes its full form. I have yet to actually go over the edge, but I've come dangerously close, I tell ya!*^~
~^*Tonight was the first "Industry Insider Session" with Lach. He's this dude who founded one of the oldest clubs in NYC {The Fort at the Sidewalk Cafe in the east village}, began his own record label and founded a genre of music known as anti~folk. He was hysterical! He was awesome to boot. He performed 2 songs {"Kiss Loves You" and "Drinking Beers With Mom"}, had an interview with Dahan, answered questions, gave insight and advice and hung around to do the whole Wizard of Oz/Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon thing with those of us in MIC who wanted to see it.*^~
