Today, I treated myself to a steak of bison tenderloin. I have never eaten bison before and I wanted to try something new. I didn't do much to it, just stir-fried it on both sides and then I put the tenderloin in the oven for 12 Minutes at 160°C - in aluminium foil with a little bit of salt, pepper, butter and thymian ). That's it.
And well, let me tell you: It was soooooooo delicious! Very tender indeed and I will definitely buy it again.
Btw: On my way home after grocery shopping I passed the weekly market and do you know what I discovered? THEY HAVE HORSE MEAT! From sausage to Sauerbraten and even wonderful wonderful steaks. I was tempted to buy one - because horse steaks are AWESOME and I love them, but I had already my bison tenderloin. But, I guess I know what I'll buy next weekend.
