Today I got off the usual bus stop in front of the school's side gate, only to realise it was closed. I had to trudge all the way up to the school gates, past Raffles Girls' Primary School, along the row of expensive-looking private houses until the place where the main gate was hidden by a clump of trees.

Almost four years have passed since I turned sixteen last year but it seemed my parents haven't changed at all. They never fail to become quite an embarrassment in public with their stranger sense of humour and unnecessary jokes/comments that sometimes make even me blush. And they're teetotalers.
