True to the season, Sadcat has gone and developed an ulcer in his right eye to match the scar tissue in his left. I think we might have caught it early enough that an aggressive treatment of antivirals will clear it up. The eye is already looking loads better, but it's the Cone of Shame until the vets can re-check him Thursday morning. At least ( Read more... )

The vet says this ulcer is healing the way they'd NORMALLY expect to see: fast, easy and gone within a week. So for once he's decided to proceed by the book! Perhaps he will be coneless by Christmas!

Dude, I have a thumbnail for your 10-9 commish, and my goal was to have a bluepencil version done by the end of the weeked. Then Sadcat imploded and I slammed my drawing hand in a door! The swelling's gone down and I can hold a pencil again, so I may still be able to meet that deadline.

There's a lot more scope for dynamic posing and perspective in the dance. The threshold carry was kind of boring, and I couldn't find ANY decent references that weren't a straight-on shot. So dancing it is!

YAY! :D Where John leads and he's all 'Bitch, if you want a dip you dip yourself. :| You're one heavy mofo. :|' XDDD Do you still need a uniform sketch for John? I could cobble something together like a small thumbnail and let you interpret the rest. I actually have a specific description of it somewhere in the book. I can also nab the passage of Ahimsa's Not!Bride outfit. :3

It's funny you should go there, because there's TOTALLY a dip, and I'm having a lot of fun playing up the size difference in their frames (also John is leering like a total creeper, because god forbid it be romantic or anything).

A uniform sketch and text excerpts would be great! I think you gave me the rundown on Ahimsa's clothing, though most of him will be seen from a 3/4ths back view. John is turned more towards the viewer, so details on his military look would be super helpful!

Hahaha. His leering face is part of his charm. Or at least Ahimsa thinks so. Of course the John Ahimsa sees is apparently not the John everyone else sees.........Even if how can you mistake "DAMN your ass is FAT!" for affection? C_C Ahimsa's filters are Mighty™ XDDD And I see you're showcasing Ahimsa's finest feature~ DAT ASS~
