Just a quick update because it is late and, as usual, I cant focus on anything for more than ten minutes. This is a continuing problem that I must alleviate - though I will say it gets me to type faster. Heheh.

I am just beginning to feel like I could begin to fit in here. I went out with folks for burritos on Monday - where I felt like a wallflower, a bit of a fly on the wall, but it was atleast nice to get invited and feel like I was taking a step in. Jesse and then I hosted a dinner party last night with a nice attendence of about 13 folks. Everyone loved the chicken we made - which was pretty much right from a recipe found online, though I poked holes in the breasts - a trick learned from my dad to help the chicken marinate better. Anyway, I got distracted by Jesse and his silly computer/website talk. ^_~

Then today I went out and bought some new clothes (score for thrift stores!) I went looking at Old Navy originally, but nothing caught my eye and things were all $20 - $50. I then went to Goodwill, which had some great stuff, but everything was either size 12+ or size 4-. Blech. I then tried Aardvark, and was JUST about to give up, when the last thing I tried on was perfect. Sweet! And only $8.

At that point I munched on a PB&J bagel I had packed along and slurped on a blended mocha beverage from a local coffee shop folks here like. That led to me helping Mel, Alex, and Felicity move into their new apartment, which was actually much fun! We drove around a rental truck, I met Alex's kitty - who is gorgeous but super shy. I think its a boy cat, but it is white and fluffy with blue eyes, so it will ALWAYS be a girl cat to me. Jesse had wanted Indian food for dinner, and it turns out a popular Indian restaurant is right by their AWESOME new apartment, so we swung by there for dinner.

I am a bit concerned about money getting into my next paycheck. I went to pick up my perscription today and they charged me full price! They then explained that I hadnt used all of my deductible yet (okay, that makes sense) and that I still had $2950 left. Wait....my ORIGINAL deductible was only $1000! So I called my agent and hope to work this out.

As I said above, I really worry about how short my attention span has come. I cant focus on articles for more than a few pages, I cant write drawn out arguments...welll, partially because I dont have to, but yeah. I cant even listen to and participate in particularly engaging discussions. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to improve this over time?
