Rant of the Day

Mar 20, 2007 11:52

Yknow, I don't know why this bugs me, but I'm in a ranting sort of mood so I thought I'd run with it :D

Why is it, whenever a customer leaves a voice mail, or emails a reply, they feel the need to end their response with "please respond ASAP". What is with that? I like to think I respond in a timely matter, I don't go wandering off to lunch with things still waiting on my reply, I don't sit here and stare at emails, wondering how long I can ignore them until they write back asking where the hell I am. You write, I respond. Simple as that.

Exactly when did you expect me to reply otherwise? Sooner than possible? Later than possible? If I'm not responding to you, it is therefore not yet possible, and if I am, it is then 'as soon' as it was possible. When the FUCK else would I manage it????
