Now he’s back from the dead (again) and in custody, facing trial for his pretty exceptional list of crimes. It’s up to the experts of the prestigious Lightman Group to unravel the mystery and find out whether Dean is criminally insane or a stone-cold psychopath. Or something else entirely...
Author's Notes:This is SPN-Missing-Year AU, so you should be up to date on S6. The characters and settings of Lie to Me should be introduced well enough that you can follow without knowing too much about that series though. Written for the sncross_bigbang and the hc_bingo prompt: falsely imprisoned. Thanks a mighty bunch to insane_songbird, ever the alpha reader that made me go into the story way back when, to candygramme, my long (and I mean LONG) suffering beta who really went to town with me on this one and my fabulous big bang artist threnodyjones who went to the lengths of watching the entire 'Lie To Me' series to make that fantastic artwork for this story!
