Oh look, shiny things
I meant to update much earlier but I keep getting distracted. I'd like to say it was real life, too much overtime at work (which sucks by the way) and Mr Snaz, but the truth is I've been spending every spare moment frolicking around in my shiny new fandom. Which would be Stargate:Atlantis. I should have seen it coming, really. Cute geeks are a weakness of mine (and probably yours). It's isiscolo's fault, for which I should remember to thank her. Double Occupancy is the story that sucked me in. Go, read it if you haven't already.
When I mentioned at the Stone Hill meeting last week that SGA was invading my brain, the wonderful Rentgirl1 told me that the same thing is happening to her. I owe her links as soon as I get done here. I asked annmorris to try and find me a Stargate necklace at Gencon and she said "You can have my spare". Hee. Why does it not surprise me that Ann would *have* a spare? Did I mention that I like cute geeks? That would include Ann.
I had great fun sitting around the kitchen table at Stone Hill, talking about fannish things(and non-fannish things) and laughing my butt off. For a good time with people who won't think you're crazy for liking that stuff, Stone Hill is the place to be. Go here to find out more.
