Potatos are the enemy!
This afternoon I investigated rustling in my pantry only to discover Sharra (all three pounds of her) wrestling with a sweet potato. So cute! I removed the offending produce and a few moments later she was beating up on the little red potatoes. Sharra is the third kitten I've raised and none of the others ever wanted to fight with spuds. Maybe she knows that potatoes are evil. They go bad and make the house smell really awful. Then I end up wandering around trying to find out the cause of that smell, surreptitiously sniffing spouse and felines, only to find that the smell of evil incarnate comes from a rotten potato. The only good potato is a cooked potato, preferably with lots of butter and salt.
