Rec me ANGST!
I finally jumped onto the band wagon and read the Chocolate series by Dianann, and OH MY GOODNESS, my heart was broken into a million little pieces by the sheer tragedy of the first book! And she writes so beautifully and achingly well!!
It's probably hard to come up with a really similar fic, but I figured collective intelligence can be put to the test. So please give me anything (classics, new fics, etc) that has angst, hurt/comfort and a happy ending! (I've read If you are prepared, and I was NOT prepared for that ending...)
Basically a fic where either Harry or Severus gets severely, irrevocably hurt (emotionally), either by the other person or external reasons.
