[Snape's hair is pulled back and he appears to be in the kitchen of the Marauder's flat, moving around it familiarly, skillfully dicing and chopping and combining things together in the pots and pans, with T-chan trotting along with him, helping him cook and keeping Erebus out of the kitchen so that the warp stalker doesn't get into any of the food

Erebus is a growing boy, it's not simply growing fatter, just larger.

He can grow larger without growing fatter.

Some do get "fatter" as they grow, it could be natural for him.

And we won't know if that is indeed the case if you continue to feed him food that isn't natural for him.

It having worked or not isn't really the point, more of the matter that you actually use it.

[At least those plates are fixed easily enough, and the rages are short when he's distracted by sweets or something.]

It's only the occasional little treat, Severus. There's no harm in that when he earns one.

If he didn't make the saddest expressions I'd suggest trying to put him on a diet. Of course he's clever when it comes to getting food.
