I am writing a bunch of poetry for a project in my women's studies class and, wow, am I rusty! I have all these concepts I want to write poems about, but I'm not really a "poem" person. I usually write haiku, if anything, but a lot of these concepts are too big to adequately address in seventeen syllables. I am really inspired to work on a story that I have been wanting to write for months, but have so far been unable to express on paper.
