For myself I am an optimist -- It does not seem to be much use being anything else.

I recently added this quote to my LJ, because I thought it came as close as any to exemplifying my personal philosophy -- I am an optimist, incurably so, and I find that my life is much less stressful and much more hopeful because of it. I see no real point in dwelling on the negative.
I've always liked Churchill's quotes, for their directness, and for their punch -- this one just seemed very appropriate somehow.
EDIT: Also, I just realized that I have a bunch of those 10 paid account ticket thingies available, should anyone with a basic or plus account feel like upgrading to a paid account. If you know anyone in need of one, send them over here!
