Day 6 -- whatever tickles your fancy
So. Hmmmmm.
Well, going with the general theme of this meme . . . I'll take my favorite video game.
It's a series of games, actually, and I haven't even played all of them. But my favorite video games are the Legend of Zelda games from Nintendo.
I like long, quest driven games, and this franchise delivers that, certainly, with a whimsical punch and increasingly beautiful graphics, too. I don't even mind that the characters don't actually speak -- most video game voice work isn't all that good,anyway.
And with these games, (particularly the Twilight Princess installment) the story is surprisingly deep and moving. And Link, with his good natured courage and lonely adventures, is one of my favorite characters from anything, ever.
Everytime I hear the theme song, I can see the sweep of the game, and I love it!
