Wake up to a better day.
The sun is out, the wind is brisk, and there are finches flying about with the pigeons and the sparrows. The construction workers fixing the sidewalks sound like crazy woodpeckers, and there are late-season fluffy cottonwood seeds floating through the air like CLAMP style feathers.
It's less than 80 degrees for the fourth day in a row. In late July! In Kansas City! That's astonishing.
I'm done with one job for the day, and I have five hours until I have to leave for my second -- so there's plenty of time to watch a bit of my shiny new Psych season 3 dvds and eat popcorn. And maybe take a walk around town in this beautiful weather.
And best of all, the bar next door is quiet! At least until I get home from work tonight. :P
