Come on, that was ugly, boys! Yeah, we won, but that 3rd quarter? Just what was going on? If Paige hadn't picked up that interception later on the Raiders could have won. The Raiders! Still, a win is a win, and the Raiders always dig there heels in when they play us.
Holmes was back -- it was good to see him, even if he's not our go-to running back anymore. Experience could be really important on a team with so many new faces. And the competition is good for LJ -- look at that 50+ yard run in the 3rd -- one of the few real highlights, even if we flubbed the chance to capitalize on the gain. Ultimately though, the win put us on top of the AFC West, (although, the Broncos were winning, last I checked -- wonder if that will change the ranking . . .) and being on top is a good thing.
