I have a complete draft of the Tennyson chapter. I've been working non-stop for three days, my place is a pigsty, and I'm exhausted.

But I have a complete (if massively flawed) draft. It's 55 pages...and I'm not at all convinced by it, but it's complete.

I think I missed my calling. I'm not really a critic. I'm a literary biographer, and everyone knows it. My advisor knows it, my mentors know it...bah. I'm good at it, too. Literary biography is FUN ( Read more... )
