I would just like to thank Penn State for their sincere concern for the welfare of their staff, faculty, and students. After all, when there's a solid sheet of ice covering every surface outside, wouldn't you cancel or at least delay classes? I know I would! But that just goes to show me that I don't have the kind of caring, compassionate heart

Yeah, they were never one to cancel classes for a little ice or snow since the majority (at least in my time) lived ON campus. Ah, the good all days.

I am pretty sure the majority *doesn't* live on campus now. At least, that's the impression I get, what with the housing crises they keep having.

I don't think school should've been cancelled today, but I can't imagine what a hell it must've been trying to get up to campus for an 8AM. The roads were absolutely treacherous--there was a good 1/4" of ice over everything.
