I would just like to thank Penn State for their sincere concern for the welfare of their staff, faculty, and students. After all, when there's a solid sheet of ice covering every surface outside, wouldn't you cancel or at least delay classes? I know I would! But that just goes to show me that I don't have the kind of caring, compassionate heart that beats in Penn State's (figurative) chest. Imagine, making all of those people miss out on education and work just because of a little ice! Silly me! /sarcasm.
Not much time this morning. Must go outside shortly and start chipping my car out of its ice block, before I back it up and race it up the hill in an attempt to get to the top before the ice wins. Thank God for front wheel drive.
