Happy happy joy joy
I am just ecstatic today and that’s surprising since I had to get up early and it’s totally dreary out. lol BUT anyone who knows how big of an Alias fan will soon understand why I’m so happy.
Yesterday the Alias Season 3 DVD came out. All the prices I was seeing were $70 to $80 and I just couldn’t justify spending that when my mom said she would buy it for me for Christmas if I really wanted it. The problem is that I really can’t wait that long - I want the DVD asap. So, this week I’m getting a $50 mileage reimbursement check and I decided if I can find the DVD for that price I’ll buy it, but I can’t spend a penny more.
Yesterday I stopped in target and they had the Alias DVD for get this….only $45! Plus, there’s a $10 rebate, so after all is said and done it would only cost me $35. Of course I bought it, but I still can’t believe I got it that cheap. I’m in shock.
So, I’m totally excited to start rewatching Season 3, plus there is all this awesome bonus stuff. For those that know the storyline of Alias, there is actually a cartoon on the DVD explaining in detail where Sydney was for the 2 years she was missing.
Can ya tell I’m excited? lol
On another note, I don’t think I mentioned this before buy my grandparents, on my dad’s side, live in Vero Beach, Florida, one of the hardest hit places by Hurricane Frances. They left the area and are actually still with my uncle, so they aren’t hurt. And they just found out that their condo is in great condition from a neighbor. Many neighbors have severe water damage and flooding, but there’s not an inch of water in my grandparents condo and it sounds like there’s not much other damage. So, that’s another piece of good news today. :)
