Just got back from an incredible week and a half on the Côte d'Azur and can't bear to do any work yet. Still feeling far too languid for that. Natch.

Things I have learned on my holiday:

Heh heh! Thanks. The next chapter of my Snapledore is almost ready - maybe even this afternoon if work stays this quiet. The boss just left for his holiday in Wales (oh, the glamour!), so I can get a bit of peace and quiet to scribble in!

Arf! When I found out that said substance-abusing Mancs were going I almost cancelled the whole trip! They tended to sleep until 4 in the afternoon so that was ok.

That's an interesting idea with the flat. I would never have thought to do that. I will have to get rid of flatmate/flatmate's boyfriend/random friends before I do it though, might really confuse them if I start chatting with the abode (they're bankers - very limited imagination). It's a very nice place and I'm pleased with it. Enough space to swing a very large cat, which is saying something in London.
