Anyone want to RP and get a detention?

Professor Snape was on duty for the third night in a row. He was tired from the night before, and because he needed to stay awake, he was pacing. Back and forth, back and forth - he did his best to pay attention, but his body wanted to shut down for the night. Angie stumbled from the shadows, sucking on her thumb. She'd scraped it along the while while triping so when she could see Snape Angie was less then pleased with herself.

"Just wandering Professor." Angie said meekly realizing how stupid it sounded. It was true, but stupid.

Snape looked down at the student on the floor. "Wandering at this hour?" Snape asked half in disbelief and half in disappointment at the lame excuse. "I see no reason why a 7th year would be wandering around the halls this late at night unless she was doing something not permitted." Snape looked at her for an explanation.

"I couldn't sleep Professor. Walking around helps to clear my..." she kind of faded off realizing how recidulous it sounded.

"I wasn't doing something not permitted." Her voice sounded a bit defencive and Angie would have liked nothing more then to just walk off. But detention sound too good.

Snape began to take interest in what she was saying when she trailed off into a defense. "Since you cannot come up with a proper excuse, I think a detention is in order. Unless you would like to tell me what you were really doing." Snape raised an eyebrow hoping for Angelina to give in to the detention.
