Perhaps 'offended'? How about 'alarmed'? Maybe 'frightened'?

But I received the most strangest owl. And with it, the cutest little token imaginable.
However, I would like to say, for the record, that I will neither consent to nor side with whatever the sender of the owl had in mind.
