The coolest thing happened yesterday. I was looking at the paper that Liz was reading, and saw, in the top corner, a tiny picture of a little gold statue. I recognized it immediately. I saw it in the one museum I went to in Vienna. This sculpture really grabbed my attention. It was in the center of a room filled almost entirely of paintings, which was cool becaue you could walk all around it. I went back to this room twice to look a the sculpture. I took a picture of it, but it came out blurry (and we weren't technically allowed to take pictures, so I didn't take another)

They didn't have postcards of this one in the giftshop. Well anyway, apparently this statue was stolen over a month ago. I really don't keep up with the news. But someone took my favorite statue in Vienna....oh well. I can't believe smeone actually managed to steal it...there's so much security in these places..and guards..I want to know how they did it!

Apparently it was stolen on May 11th (my brother's birthday!) I saw it almost exactly a month before, on April 12th. Here's an article that describes how it was stolen.
Try this link if the other one doesn't work.

In other news...I have a job..sort of. I'm typing transcripts for this hospitality company (you can see my amazing work at www.hospitalitynet.org under multimedia, and then "transcripts" hahaha). I get to listen to people who hold conferences for people who manage hotels and type what they say. It's not bad, and I'm making some much needed money. I even got paid today. In cash. In euros. Wow.

I need to take pictures of cats. There are two absolutely adorable ones here.

I need to learn how to make pancakes the way Wendy makes them. They are sooo good.
