A CAPPELLA AUDITIONS!!! (and other various happenings)
Oh my goodness! I just tried out for three different a cappella groups on campus here, and I reeeeally want to get called back for them. Well, not necessarily all of them, I just want to get into one of them... =) Co ed would be nice (2/3 that I tried out for were...) because I'm so used to being in that kind of environment from Vocal Ensemble anyway, but the girls in Signature were super sweet and they're so talented! I haven't e-mailed Random Voices yet, but I think I'm going to wait till I hear back from the other groups (tonight, tomorrow night, and the next) and I'll probably just audition anyway.
I had forgotten how much I love singing formally. Even just singing the scales at the auditions felt AMAZING! I miss it so much. I NEED this to happen! =) I did pretty well though, I think. A few foibles here and there, but overall I feel good about it. So, right now I have to just see if I'm what any of them want/need and how well I compared to everyone else... (That's my biggest concern, honestly...)

Anyway, my classes this quarter are amazing as well! Except they have some stressful conflicts with band which can hopefully be worked out asap and won't be a problem anymore! I'm getting a bit more organized (hopefully after this Sunday, I'll have a "place" for everything...)
The game this Sat is finally a night game! And we're doing our Sixties show! Which is tons of fun, even if it is kind of weird and hard... =D And we get to wear tye dye!!! *super pumped*
Life in the land of Alli is good so far. =) Hopefully it won't stop being that way!
ETA: 2/3 have turned me down thusfar... Which means that odds are good the third will as well, considering the number of people who tried out for multiple... =(
