i am a scientist.
i am about to graduate from college...in, oh, three hours...i am very, very happy. i even get to wear two sets of honor cords. wow, recognition for being a perfectionistic over achiever, something surely to be celebrated. but, it does feel good. i worked soooooooooooo hard at school, probably too hard. and now it is over, and i feel fucking good about my experience at belmont. and i will soon hold a bachelors of science in psychology.
this week has been INSANE, lots of communication issues and just general intensity. my left shoulder is overrun with stress knots. however, i agree with lex, who last night said today (friday) is the end of confusion and the beginning of wonderful celebration. i agree 100%. after graduation, my family is accompanying me and my friends to the exit/in to watch the whole fantastic world, forget cassettes and how i became the bomb. i am very excited to see the whole fantastic world. my 83 year old grandma is even coming.
yesterday was brynne's birthday. we had a wonderfully southern time at lynn's karaoke bar in west nashville. lex, resident yankee, had a true cultural experience. brynne sand "sin wagon." i don't even remember everything we sang...it was kick ass...pictures will be posted to flickr very soon.
alex was in town the past two days. i love her dearly.
