I attempted to make french onion soup last night... attempted is the key word there. :C Not so good. I think part of the problem is the Gruyere cheese I was using... it's gross. I don't know if this is the case for all Gruyere, although restaurants generally make it work, but in this case it just reminds me of those Kraft singles in the swiss flavor... very plasticy. Another problem is I don't have appropriate bowls, which makes it tricky for that last part where I am supposed to broil the cheese over the top of the bowl of soup w/ bread. I will try to fix that today though, seeing as how I have about a gallon of soup left.

In other news, I uploaded my footage from the Britney concert... well, most of it, I still have to upload the snippet of "Freakshow" where I made sure to tape a bit of the screen (it is RIDICULOUS, I CANNOT EVEN TELL YOU)

Here we go though, concert recap ahoy, starting with

Here's a bit of a song I don't particularly care for, Beep?, something like that. I have to say, I know for a fact that PCD cannot sing live very well (the SYTYCD performance proves it), but when you are at a concert they tend to sound better because your ears are so damaged from all of the screaming and noise. Therefore, when I was actually there, I thought PCD sounded really good. My footage proves otherwise, of course XP

One of my favorite PCD songs:

Basically I love the opening... the part where the dude is all "they call me the queen" or whatever? A guy near me was like, squealing with joy, it was awesome :D

Piece of Me, not my favorite thing she did during this concert, because the cage thing is kind of boring... plus she has this HUGE stage and by staying in a cage the whole song she isn't really utilizing the space properly, so I think, but the part where she is clinging to the door and stuff is pretty sick, ngl.

Radar - fuzzy at first, but if you wait for 20 seconds, it gets clear and all the dancing looks really good. I LOVE THIS SONG, OKAY, it is my ringtone and everything, so I love that she danced and really worked this one. I hear it is supposed to be a single at some point too!

Hot as Ice :D

I should mention, I find most slow songs boring as heck. I only bothered to tape songs that were of interest to me. I don't remember her doing that many slow songs - just "Everytime" and "Touch of My Hand" (and I actually like both of those, for slow songs) - but I might have forgotten, because slow songs are not "on my radar" so to speak.

Boys (remix)

Boys transitions to If You Seek Amy

The rest of If You Seek Amy:

15 seconds of Everytime (if you want the full: here, not my footage, as it is way better and closer haha)

Freakshow - let me tell you, there was ridiculous stuff on the screen in the meantime - cow skulls with lit up antlers (okay, so not cows... um... deers? buffalo? IDK.) and the antlers were lighting up to the beat. Then random animals, like snakes and various mammals, moving their mouths to the beat. I DON'T EVEN KNOW. BRITNEY. WHAT GOES ON IN YOUR HEAD, YO? I WANNA BE YOUR BFF, YOU ARE HILARIOUS.

Hit Me Baby (One More Time)

one more time, one more time, one more time, time, time :D :D

Okay, so ~*~fake out ending~*~, but it was pretty obvious it wasn't over, and not just because the house lights hadn't come on yet... they had a Britney video thing to Break the Ice. I didn't record this, this is way too good of a copy for it to be from the actual concert, but this is from someone that got it from the person that put the clips together and everything, so this is what they used:

Real Ending: Womanizer

All in all, excellent time was had :) BRITNEY FOREVER, and it totally makes up for any flaws in previous concerts. My only regret is that I wasn't closer, but I am not sure how I could be closer and have as good of a view of the whole stage. ALAS, there is no winning. I guess I wish I was really ridiculously rich and could just go to three or four shows and have really excellent seats in different places at each one.

The end!

concerts!, i love to eat, britney
