I also thought Sam would have welcomed vampire Dean as a partner, particularly considering how intrigued he was when Dean was turned : " how do you feel, Dean.".

Yeh, I couldn't help but think perhaps Sam would have been more than happy and welcoming if Dean remained a vampire.

I actually did kinda hope that that was the case last ep. That Sam was just sorta happy because Dean would know what it was like to be not quite human. IDK, I think it would have been an awesome, awesome twist to leave Dean as a vampire.

He was definitley curious about how Dean felt as a vampire, if Sam isn't quite all human, then he would be ecstatic that Dean isn't either. After all it seems Sam really really wants Dean to be on his side, maybe that side IS the not so human blood side.

ooooooeeeeewwww, nice - particularly a supernatural Sam. It has a lot of potential in terms of Dean coming to terms with having a 'monster' for a brother...

I always up for a vampiric Dean but Show was never going to go there for long (shame).

*fist pumps* That would have been some cool stuff right there! Dean a vampire. I mean Sam was so welcoming that it could have been pulled off ;) But, alas the evil minds behind the show are not that evil... Shame.

You know, I actually sorta like that idea! It would explain Sam enjoying/being happy about Dean being turned without him being all evil. We've seen vampires just drink animal blood before on SPN, why not Dean? So, it could have worked! I wonder if that is Sam's end game? Like, his mission is to make Dean something supernatural like himself, which is why he's interested in Alpha's and maybe is somehow calling the shots to get Samuel interested in them and helping him out without knowing it!

I would not put it past them to make it Sam's end game. He's not quite human, and he wants his brother around, so he's going to try and have it where Dean would be turned into something supernatural ;) It could have worked, Dean could have easily lived off of cow's blood.
