Friday evening after work I hung out with my mom for a while. We drank coffee and talked - it was a lovely visit. I feel like I don't see much of her these days due to my being so occupied with work and school, but I have decided to make a more concerted effort to spend time with her when I can. Sean came over later that night and we watched the pilot episode of Eureka and went to bed relatively early.
On Saturday we went to Goodwill where we both purchased a shirt and two books each. I also bought an old, gray coffee mug with brightly colored sailboats on it and two tea bag rests (I'm not sure if that's their intended purpose, but my idea seems to be working). After thrifting we went for coffee at Caffé Gelato and read books at the same table we had sat at our first time there last summer. A little grocery shopping afterward and then back to my place for more reading and a double feature of "Money Pit" and "City Slickers".
Yesterday = walk in the park, Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches, reading (Sean finished his Kurt Vonnegut book; I still have a bit more to go), and two more episodes of Eureka followed by a sleeping party.
