I got my car back on Thursday night! So far, so good. Sean came over after I got home - we ate, began watching a documentary, and went to sleep. I worked all day on Friday and then went to Kristy's son Andrew's sixth birthday shindig afterward.
This past Saturday, Sean and I went to a surprise birthday celebration for Keith at Lasertag. A virginal experience for me - I had a blast! I got the second-to-worst score the first game, but thanks to a better understanding of it all (and my alias, Miles Davis), I had a net gain of 171 points the second game. I was still quite a loser, but I didn't care. Afterward, we convened in one of the party rooms for snacks and cookie cake. We then made plans to meet up at Fat Heads Brewery in North Olmstead later that evening. To kill a bit of time, Sean and I went to Mustard Seed where we both bought some tea (Red Zinger and white peony & pear, respectively).
Fat Heads was phenomenal. The food and brews were equally delicious - I had a veggie something and tried two Bumbleberry beers (bah, it's too bad they don't sell it in six-pack form at the grocery store - it was one of the best beers I have ever tasted). We went back to Keith's and hung out for a while before heading to my place to retire for the night.
On Sunday I did homework while Sean read. We then watched part two of the documentary we started watching on Thursday. It's turned out to be incredibly nuanced, informative, and engaging thus far - I anticipate watching the rest of it!
I have just one more exam to get through tomorrow and I will officially be on spring break. It doesn't have quite the same connotation as it did in high school, but a short respite is indeed necessary for me.
