Mind Resolutions and Body Revolutions

This is going to be a great semester for me.  I'm very determined this time around to work on my career goals and physique.

This morning I got up early with Shelley to go to Preston and work out.  Even though I did hit the snooze button three times, I still got up and didn't feel too tired.  After my workout-- 4 miles on a treadmill-- I got some breakfast and went home to shower.  Although the workout wasn't much, it made a HUGE difference in my attitude and energy.  It's a kind of 18-hour high. But I'm just tired of being tired and giving the excuse, "I'm tired," when people ask me what's wrong, think I'm being too quiet, or just simply look tired.  No more excuses.

My goal this semester is to get up early and workout every morning, even if it's not a huge workout.  Baby steps.

I joined a site called muscleandstrength.com, and it's got a lot of helpful tips and discussions.  The site will help keep me motivated.  In the end, I plan on building muscle, but for now, I need to cut body fat and strengthen my muscles.  This way I'll change everyone's opinions from, "Yeah, he's good looking," to "Damn!  What a fine mother f*cker! I could drink his bathwater up!" :D.

But seriously, my real goal is to just feel better and be a happier and more energized person throughout the day.
