September

Burn This Book edited by Toni Morrison                                                       [some really fantastic essays; particular Morrison's]
Going in Circles by Pamela Ribon                                                                [I probably only liked it at all because of the roller derby]
The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros                                      [liked the vignette style]
Boy Meets Boy by David Levithan                                                                   [reminded me a bit of Perks]

October

Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney                                                            [amusing, but not sure why it's a NYTimes best seller]
House of M by John Laymen and Greg Pak
Hello I'm Special: How Individuality became the New Conformity by Hal Niedzviecki
Thinking Straight by Robin Reardon                                                          [didn't agree with the theology, but overall interesting]
Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins                                                           [a new fave]
Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins                                                               [again, great for teaching kids important concepts]

November

Bodies of Inscription: a cultural history of the modern tattoo community by Margo DeMello
Mockingbird by Suzanne Collins                                                                [love this series, hated how it ended for Finnick]
Hero by Perry Moore                                                                                      [enjoyed the concept; some laugh out loud moments that are kind of awkward on the bus :D]
Totally Joe by James Howe                                                                         [I like that this was for middle readers]
Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan            [there seemed to be some worth-keeping line on nearly every page]
Preludes and Nocturnes by Neil Gaiman                                                 [an okay opening]
The Vast Fields of Ordinary by Nick Burd                                                  [quite lovely]

December [missing a few due to finals chaos]

The Disreputable History of Frankiei Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart   [fabulous heroine; fabulous]
Roller derby : the history and all-girl revival of the greatest sport on wheels by Catherine Mabe
Drown by Junot Diaz                                                                                      [love this writer]
