Halloween! Me likey.
So work is boring. I've only seen one other person in the building who is "festive". Not that my pink bunny ears meet the definition of festive, but it is an effort! I get to put on my tail and paint on a nose/whiskers for work tonight as the little kiddies are trick-o-treating around 'le mall'.
I understand I have been negligent so here's a recap of my goings-on as of late:
Finally unpacked my apartment. It's nice to have things "homey", it's also nice to have things in their proper place. Now I can have company over. Just coming home to a straight and clean environment really has taken the stress off my shoulders.
Inherited an old old old maple dining room set that has been in the family for a good long time and was originally used by family in Germany. Got to see my g'rents in the process. It was a good time and I like looking at the table. Now I can make people dinner.
Have finally gotten used to juggling two jobs. I am finding myself finally able to breathe and enjoy having something to do with my time.
Started smoking again after almost a full month's hiatus, so maybe not breathing so well. I feel like absolute sh**, so I will stop again after this pack is done. It's not worth it. Damn willpower.
Am re-finding out how much fun it is to be in genuinely good (and attractive) company, it was great before and still is, I'm sorry for the break in-between. Eh, no more thinking, just enjoyment.
Might be roadtripping out to VA for Thanksgiving. Not sure if I can do the 17 hrs of straight driving, maybe I'll solicit a passenger to help with that.
Halloween weekend bashes, bars and brawls. Got dressed up really cute, had really cute company too. Stepped out on the town in a black 40's style cocktail dress with blue polka dots on it and 4 inch peep-toe pumps (which were surprisingly comfortable). Dark makeup and cute hair made the look perfect. My fave part was the bitchin' choker someone lent me. In all, the outfit rocked and gave me extra confidence to strut my stuff (that sounds so cliche). Anyway. Had a good time, paid for it all night and into the next. Getting old, but you only live once!
