[for the past couple of weeks, Chigusa has been haunting the Onsen Inn, rarely leaving or interacting with those that don't first approach him, either sitting idly by a window or out on the porch, watching the day go by. tonight he's taken up his usually spot outside, and is staring out at nothing in particular.]

I'm sure this must be very boring for you.

It's not boring.

[both the change in Chigusa and how it's affecting Rakan is making me a worse worrywart than usual. which is why I'm hanging around a little more than usual... just to keep an eye on things.

which is why I'm watering flowers right now. yep. not that I needed to water them RIGHT NOW but it seemed like a good opportunity . . .]

occasionally throws a glance in Chigusa's direction while he's tending to the garden]

[it's been a couple days since Chigusa's passed out. there have been no signs of him waking at all during this time, but his physical form has slowly been changing back to normal. his hair's gotten shorter and his physique has filled out to what it was before.]

[Rakan has mostly stopped trying to wake him up. instead, he sits for hours holding his hand]

[has been completely back to normal for a little while now, and after a moment, his fingers twitch]
