Busy much?
So only 9 more days until I am free. Last week was mine and Dan's 2 year anniversary (went by so fast i know!) but we couldnt wait to exchange gifts so we did 2 days before our anniversary. I got him this cheesy puzzle with a picture of us on it because he loves puzzles and he got me probably the best gift Ive ever gotten----tickets to the Patriots!! :-) The game in on the 21st which is awesome because its the last home game and also the weekend after I am dane this hellish semester! So Im beyond excited for that!
This past weekend was pretty full. Friday was Katie's birthday, so we went over to their apartment and had dinner. We were all going to go out, but I couldnt because I had to come home for a funeral on Saturday. Mary my moms godmother passed away last tuesday, so the funeral was on Saturday. It was so sad, especially seeing her sister all alone and sad. :o( After the funeral I felt bad because it was our family christmas party, so it was hard to enjoy. We did a swap and I ended up with number 1 so I got the pick of all the gifts afterward, which was awesome. Though, our swap only has a $5 limit, so the gifts sucked anyways. I ended up with a Red Sox picture that my dad wanted so badly, oops :o) After the party, Dan and I drove back to Boston because I had a practical to study for on Monday. Sunday spent pretty much the whole day studying.
Mondays practical wasnt bad at all. I actually probably got the easiest case ever, pretty much the patient had a severe ankle fracture so all I could so was massage and elevate the leg. After that, Lindsey and I had our last day at service learning, which was pretty nice because it was becoming a huge pain in the ass going there every week. But at the same time, it was sad saying by to the old ladies, and they were all hugging us and we got them cards. Yesterday I had a group proposal for research due and that was alittle stressful because we had to put it together at the last minute. We were also the first group to do our presentation, but that went pretty smoothly. If anything Im just glad to be done because it was a huge hassle. The thing that sucked about going first was that we had to wait through another 2 hours of presentations. Today I have my cardiopulm practical at 530, which is so late, but I should have plenty of time to study. Then again, these practicals are stupid and I just want to get it over it.
This weekend is full of Christmas parties, Friday is Dans for his work and Sunday is mine for Pro sports, fun fun fun!
The next 10 days pretty much suck. I have a review session tomorrow for Pharmacology along with a guide note for MS due, then my MS final friday. Next tuesday I have a research final and Wednesday is my Pharm final. My last final is on the 19th, which is Cardiopulm, which will be a pain in the ass, along with a guide note for that class as well. I decided to work on Saturday the 20th back at Pro Sports because I need money and then the Pats game is that Sunday!... thats my life because I know I wont be able to breathe, let alone update this thing during all this.
