Cast of Characters:
I had a very long chat with someone yesterday about... well... about a lot of things, but a great deal of it concerning specific types of human beings and our varied emotional reactions. About the artists and creators and deeply rooted evaluators of the world. About the everyman. About the people that know us versus the people that understand us. About what's important. About relationships and forgiveness and understanding. About pain and boundaries and unconditional love.
Where the stimulus of the conversation was not ideal, it was nice. It was refreshing. And it further embedded in me a confidence in the people I've chosen to be my extended family. That even through the seeming disappointments or upsets or even heartbreaks, I've given the best of me to the right people. You can't buy that kind of validation.
And since one of them recently lectured me about the lack of posting around these here parts, I'm dedicating this post to her; and the rest of my cast of characters whom I love so dearly.
-All photos except for three are mine. Those three were stolen without permission. They'll get over it.
-There are also many, many more people in my life that I am beyond lucky to know and love. My blog's not big enough to house them all. But these? These are the ones that are stuck with me whether they like it or not.
