The sad state of fanfiction is....
worse then I thought. Out of sheer perverseness, I decided to cruise ff.net for any Byakuya/Renji fics I could read. I found one that looked promising and began reading it. After reading the first paragraph and a half, I went to see if the author was from another country. There were that many misused words. My jaw dropped when I read that not only is she American but she's a beta reader! If you can't get your own shit right, how can you be trusted to correct someone else's? o_O
