Exactly. I was referring to the "We change entire peoples' ways of thinking when we do this.", which of course we don't and that's the problem with things. If we COULD do that, then it would be simple to knock over dictator and just pop in a jeffersonian democracy. Alas, it doesn't work that way in the modern world.
